New Wave grinding technology:
New Wave grinded knives guarantee a better material flow and less dust formation. The result of the New Wave technology is a very homogeneous cutting edge with a much better and longer service life. In practice, the New Wave grinding achieves twice to three times the service life of conventional grinding techniques.

Hyperwave grinding technology:
The Hyperwave grinding technique is a combination of Hyperhone and New Wave. The result is a dust-reduced cut and better material flow with longer lifetimes. With the Hyperhone grinding technique, the cutting edge is rounded and secured against micro-blowouts during high-gloss polishing and in the final process step on both the cutting and the wafer side. Doctor Blade Analysis
TKM Meyer GmbH offers customers an analysis of their doctor blades. Different analyses, such as cross-sectional and doctor blade angle analysis, are performed. An exact doctor blade angle can be determined 100% bya doctor blade angle analysis only. Due to many influences on the printing machine, such as cylinder circumference, NIP, doctor blade pressure setting or hydrodynamic pressure, a determination of the doctor blade angle is very unreliable.

On request, we also organise application-specific training courses at your premises. We take your special requirements into account and actively support you in improving quality, efficiency and economy - in all printing and finishing processes.

Repair Service
In addition to folding and counter-flaps, gripper bars and pads as well as traps are also processed. You can expect the TKM spare parts we repaired to have the same manufacturing tolerances as our newly manufactured parts. If required, we replace the Vulkollan® inserts or re-coat the surfaces with different ceramics or tungsten carbides. On demand, we support the reconditioning process with measurement reports, which record the condition of the component before and after the repair.
