Guarantees gravure printing quality free of ,,missing dots”, even at highest press speeds. Direct or indirect charging systems. All systems comply with the latest ATEX explosion protection directives and can be used in hazardous areas.
Function: The ESA loading system charges up the specially manufactured ESA impression roller. A DC current is created across the entire printing width which flows through the printing substrate to the grounded engraving cylinder. The DC current polarizes the printing ink in the cells of the gravure cylinder. This polarization effect increases the volume of the ink cells and a better ink in transfer to the printing material is achieved. That means, no more so-called «missing-dots».
These systems have a wide range of use in the processing of printed products. Controlled electrostatic charging can be used for blocking, fixing and tacking. The versatility of our contact-free static production systems guarantees improvement in production processes.
