Universal Converting Equipment has announced a move to a larger stand at DRUPA 2024. Universal will now occupy stand 15D51 in Hall 15, more than doubling the size of its stand. The larger space will allow Universal to demonstrate a wider range of products including its game changing Universal X8 automated slitting machine. The X8 has a range of automation systems to transform the productivity of the slitting process.
Since its launch, the Universal X8 is now used by many flexible packaging converters to dramatically increase output and reduce labour required. The machine can be combined with a range of roll handling systems to label, wrap and palletise the finished rolls.
Also on show at Drupa, May 28th to June 7th 2024, will be the Universal X2 salvage rewinder plus information on its Universal X2XL rewinder for large rolls up to 2500mm wide and 1500mm diameter . The company will also be taking a Universal CCA automatic core cutter, Universal Xcore automatic core cutter with core loader and cut core sorting system and a RT2 roll handling trolley. In addition, Universal will be exhibiting its hot melt coating and laminating systems plus laser perforation and scribing systems.
