HP to showcase latest portfolio of Latex printers and intelligent solutions grounded in sustainability and automation at this year's drupa
Today HP announces plans to showcase the latest in its Large Format portfolio at drupa 2024, with the company set to highlight how its printer portfolio and latest innovations are delivering on its vision to transform the world by design.
Together We Are Transforming Business By incorporating the HP Latex Technology into business operations, business leaders have the potential to print on virtually any substrate to create signage, vehicle wraps, decorative applications, interior design, stickers, posters and more. The HP Large Format product portfolios deliver the highest quality and offer an opportunity to increase revenues for Print Service Providers (PSPs) with a range of application offerings. More specifically, the HP Latex product range delivers productivity benefits. “With the HP Latex 2700 we can offer our customers particularly high quality in the area of self-adhesive films for applications such as trade fair and shop construction or interior design. The colors must also be brilliant and the films themselves must be robust,” explains Roland Niggemeyer, managing partner, Niggemeyer Pro Imaging. “With the HP Latex 2700, we are able to win new orders and expand our customer base.” Furthermore, HP’s customers all over the globe are reaping the benefits of HP’s portfolio, for example:
Andretti (US): At Dscoop, American Motorsports organization Andretti, leveraged HP Latex technology to wrap its signature race car - the No. 26 Gainbridge Show Car - showcasing how to utilize HP printers to ensure each car is race ready.
PressOn (UK): Nick Hollis, former HP Manager, rowed solo across the Atlantic Ocean as part of a grueling 721 Challenge to raise awareness for climate change. PressOn used a HP Latex R2000 and HP Latex 3600 printers to produce specialist decals to cover the boat Nick will row in with the logos and names of the various supporters.
Signarama Tuggerah (APJ): NSW Central Coast PSP reached 25 per cent revenue increase and impressive business growth since installing the HP Latex 800W. Delivering a creative edge, the company prints on environmentally conscious substrates, which enables speed and exceptionally high-quality output.
For PSPs, the HP Latex portfolio grants access to a range of tools, experts and insights to help craft and deliver new innovations that transform the world by design, future proof the environment and develop the cities of the future. Whether its local print businesses serving their communities through creating new and visually enticing wallpaper for hospitals, signage in our high streets or brands looking to inspire change with innovative applications, HP is working to make a difference in the environment.
HP has created advanced solutions to help boost productivity, ease collaboration, and optimize workflow in a simple and intuitive way. Part of HP’s continued focus is on helping PSPs improve productivity and grow their business. HP’s Professional Print Service Plans (PPSP) play a crucial role in this shared ambition. PPSP provide print service providers with new business models that combine services, solutions and innovation to help streamline production workflows. For example, PPSP subscribers have access to premium solutions including HP’s Design and eCommerce platforms or HP Live Production solutions, available through HP Print OS Suite. For HP, designing large-format applications must be fast, easy and intuitive.
“We prioritize our customers’ needs by continually evolving our innovations: from easy design creation and visualization, seamless order reception and handling to fast integration with today’s most popular eCommerce platforms. By enhancing efficiencies and expediting time to market with web to print software solutions, HP is disrupting the print industry. Whether it is through existing capabilities such as HP SmartStream software - which helps users turn operator efficiency into operating profit and serve customers by improving production workflow - or our range of eBusiness software offerings, PPSP enables our customers to be more agile. It is through these PPSP customers maximize uptime, and gain access to knowledge sharing tools through HP Learn” said Daniel Martinez, General Manager, Large Format Business, HP.
“With this in mind, we look forward to welcoming industry experts, analysts and prospective customers at drupa, to discuss and showcase the transformative power of print with our innovative HP Large Format Product and Solutions”, concludes Daniel Martinez.
Smart Sustainable Printing HP aims to be the world’s most sustainable and just technology company. With an end-to end approach, HP continues to drive greater sustainable impact in large format printing through manufacturing, product design materials, product and print end of life. Through HP’s Latex portfolio, PSPs can embrace a more sustainable approach to print jobs with energy efficient printers1 that allow them to reach more indoor spaces with specialist ink chemistry for improved indoor air quality.
The HP Latex technology portfolio has been intricately designed to offer more sustainable wallcovering printing services with water-based latex inks that give off negligible chemicals, whilst being UL ECOLOGO®2 and EPEAT® certified. The HP Latex inks have several advantages, including zero Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs)3, non-flammability, non-combustibility, and odorlessi. Plus, they also do not require special ventilation4 and do not release ozone, making them ideal for various settings such as hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, hospitals, and homes. Moreover, these inks avoid problematic reactive monomer chemistry5, ensuring safety and reliability.
