What is new? The personal video meetings!

Exhibitor contacts and visitors can meet in virtual video meetings (platform "Whereby"). This means that a matchmaking participant can invite up to 3 people to meet and exchange information in a personal video meeting.

This is a very good opportunity to have personal customer contacts, to build up trust. And that world-wide on the 4 run time days 16. - 19.11.2020 around the clock, thus in each case from 0:00 to 24:00 h CET. So you can also meet people from Asia or America at times that suit them.

How do I use matchmaking as a visitor or exhibitor?

Registration

Register in the virtual event portal under "Matchmaking".

As a visitor, you will be asked to activate the account and, most importantly, complete your profile. Only with a complete profile and your personal preferences can the software suggest optimal contacts.

As an employee of an approved exhibitor, you will receive your account for the portal from the trade fair organizer in your company. He can invite you quickly and easily for matchmaking. The profile data of the exhibitor registration will be taken over during the registration.

Browser or App

Get the free app. Matchmaking is available to you both as a desktop web platform and as an app.

Let's go

Already done: Log in and let's go - the first contacts are already suggested.
  1. AI networking: Matching contacts are suggested by the matchmaking tool (match preferences and profiles. You can show interest by clicking, i.e. network or skip (reject).

    By the way, the self-learning matchmaking app will pick out the most relevant participants for you to network with, make appointments and get to know trade show participants. With each use, the app gets better and better at recognizing your preferences and suggesting more and more suitable contacts.

  2. Interested in me: View who is interested in you, i.e. who has clicked the "Show interest" button.

    Chat with these people using the chat function or have them write to you. You will be notified by the system when there is a message.

  3. Find suitable contacts among the matchmaking participants, selecting status, location, company, industry, etc.

  4. Meet visitors and exhibitors in the "virtual meeting room", organize a meeting and invite your new contacts from matchmaking to it. The virtual meeting room is a video conferencing function and is offered 24 hours a day during and shortly before/after the event, maximum number of participants is four. This allows you to also meet contacts from Asia or America at a time that suits you.

The drupa Matchmaking is expected to be available for you at virtual.drupa from mid-March 2021.

* In order to use the function of the virtual meeting rooms within the matchmaking tool, it is for technical reasons required to use the service of the video meeting provider Whereby. The privacy policy of Whereby is available at https://whereby.com/information/tos/privacy-policy/. If you are an exhibitor representative using the matchmaking service and are also listed as a contact person in our exhibitor and product database, you will be identified there as a matchmaking participant. Within the scope of using said service for the processing of personal data carried out within the legitimate interest of the controller we refer to Article 6 Sec. 1 lit. f. of the European General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR).
